This wine was bottled only two weeks before I tasted it; as such it's not surprising that some would display some residual sulfur. This possesses a similar nose though in this case there is a hint of baked bread. Otherwise the medium weight flavors are slightly denser while retaining the same sense of vibrancy, all wrapped in a gorgeously long and complex finale. Between these two wines I often prefer the Puligny but in 2013 the Chassagne version has a slight edge. Either way you can't go wrong as both wines are excellent, particularly for the level.
