By John Gilman Nov/Dec 2012, Issue #42, 11/1/2012 - 94 points (Meursault “Perrièresâ€- Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils) The 2011 Meursault “Perrières†from Domaine Bouchard Père et Fils is a deep and impressively backwards example of this great vineyard. The superb nose offers up a fairly primary blend of apple, pear, a touch of passion fruit, iodine, chalky soil tones and a nice framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nascently complex, with a huge core of fruit, brisk acids and stunning backend intensity and grip on the very long, pure and laser-like finish. A great wine. (Drink between 2018-2040) By Stephen Tanzer September/October 2012, Issue #164,  91-93 points (Bouchard Pere et Fils Meursault Perrieres) (made from three different parcels): Pale bright yellow. Perfumed aromas of lemon peel and acacia flower. Chewy, saline and savory, with harmonious acidity (4.1 grams per liter) and underlying minerality accentuating the flavors of lemon, lime and truffle. With its strong mineral component and inner-mouth aromatic character, this almost tastes like it's from another vintage.
