2010 Pousse D Or Chambolle Musigny Les Feusselottes

(from 45-year-old vines):  Bright, dark red.  Very ripe aromas of cherry pit and almond.  Dense, ripe and sweet but youthfully restrained, with excellent depth to its lightly saline redcurrant flavor.  Finishes with very suave tannins, excellent grip and resounding length. Tanzer 91


A similar if more elegant nose precedes rich yet racy and beautifully well-delineated middle weight flavors that are supported by very fine-grained tannins and a subtle mineral element on the vibrant and persistent finish. This is a very sophisticated effort that is delicious but a bit one-dimensional at present though the underlying material is such that this could very well change with cellar time. Burghound 90
