Allen Meadows' Burghound, February 2011
(from parcels everywhere in the commune that are segregated into 8 different cuvées aged in 20% new wood and then assembled into the final blend just before bottling) A slightly riper nose features notes of acacia blossom, citrus and lightly spiced pear that dissolves seamlessly into rich, generous and quite fleshy medium-bodied flavors that possess good volume on the delicious finish. This is slightly finer than the Chassagne if not as precise.
89 points and Outstanding.
Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, September/October 2011
Pale straw-yellow. Lemon, nut oil, menthol and minerals on the nose. Suave and penetrating, with good energy to its peachy flavor. Less large but more fruity than the Chassagne. Also finer and longer, and classically dry on the aftertaste.
89 points.
