This is a wine that I have always had a soft spot for ever since visiting the Domain years ago. This is a perfect example of the ripeness of 2009 working so perfectly with the high sited appelations that in most vintages can show hard and austere. Not the case with this wine. Sumptous ripe plum flavors dominate the nose with elegance and balance that could easily be mistaken for a wine from the Cote de Nuits. Always a great bang for the buck - you won't want to miss this one!
