A pretty and open nose of red, black and violet aromas trimmed in subtle Vosne spice notes highlights the supple, fresh and minerally flavors that are punchy and distinctly dry and edgy as well as having more than a subtle dollop of wood on the finish. This is presently awkward and borderline imbalanced. My score offers the benefit of the doubt. Burghound 87-90
