This was a wine that was destined for the European market - it was not reviewed by any of the American reviewers. Anybody that knows anything about Burgundy knows how fantastic the 2005 Volnays can be. This is another great example - Violets, spice, strong red fruit flavors that melt into the palate. A serious wine! Vins Rare 92 Highly Recommended.
