Fairly strong reduction makes the nose very difficult to read but there is an inner mouth perfume that adds a great deal of interest to the muscular but classy and pure flavors that end on the short side. It's clear that I did not catch this at a good time as it's quite youthfully awkward and thus my score is based on an intimate familiarity with this wine and the underlying raw material, which appear excellent. Burghound 89-92 Outstanding!!
