Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Sep/Oct 05 Pale, green-tinged color. Peach, lemon, minerals, gunflint and toasted bread on the nose. Sweet and fat but juicy, with a strong minerality giving firmness to the concentrated, nicely ripe stone fruit flavors. A bit youthfully aggressive today but not hard. Finishes with excellent persistence. 90-93 points
Excellenct persistence is what makes this wine so good. The flavors just seem to go on and on. A must have white Burgundy for those that crave minerality with clean fresh acitity. |
